Leaving home at age 18 to serve in the US Military Intelligence in the Far East and later at Ft. Meade, Maryland, Mr. Rivers then completed undergraduate studies and began graduate work in Public Health at the University of Minnesota. Through the U.S. Army Physician Assistant program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, he became a commissioned (Officer) Physician Assistant. Mr. Rivers served over 23 years in the active duty and guard reserves; his last active duty tour was with the U.S. Army National Guard in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
Mr. Rivers offers acute and family care, worker’s compensation injury care, ultrasound and EKG. With almost fourteen years working in Emergency Medicine (presently) and seven years in Urgent Care, Mr. Rivers offers his experience and skills with a truly caring bedside manner.
